The inspiration for the MORDRED putter is a hybrid of childhood fascination and a historical legend.
As a child, ARGOLF Founder Olivier Colas was always mesmerized by the sleek design and outstanding performance of Formula 1 race cars. The aerodynamics involved in this style of racing was even more interesting for young Colas as his family-owned Armor Meca; the company specializes in the manufacturing of parts used by the world’s leading companies in the aerospace, defense, submarine, and medical industries including European Space Agency, Airbus and Safran.
ARGOLF putters and irons are custom-milled in the heart of historic Brittany, France – located just outside the mythical Forest of Broceliande, home of King Arthur. Because of its stature and excellence in manufacturing, each ARGOLF putter is named after an Arthurian legend.
Mordred was known as a notorious traitor who fought King Arthur at the Battle of Camlann, where he was killed, and Arthur was fatally wounded. The images depicting Mordred are reflected in the winged design of the MORDRED mallet putter which aids in stabilization and alignment, as well as its coloring.
With a lower center of gravity that surpasses all mallet putters in the ARGOLF Broceliande Collection, the MORDRED putter boasts one of the highest MOIs available on the market. Precisely milled from a solid block of aeronautical-grade 7175 Aluminum, the MORDRED appeals to the eye with its clean and sophisticated look. Using the most advanced technology, the MORDRED mallet putter is shaped through a 5-axis milling process that differentiates itself from its competitors in design and performance due to its aerodynamic features.
Featuring ARGOLF’s patented C-Claw technology for a more consistent roll, the MORDRED putter’s head is finished with a sharp Grey or Camo Green color. It looks just as spectacular as it performs with a black PVD KBS shaft.

The MORDRED putter has been elected as one of the best putters of the PGA Show 2019
(Jupiter, Florida). The newest addition to the ARGOLF family made its grand appearance in January at the 66th PGA Merchandise Show. The MORDRED putter joins the award-winning Broceliande collection with its inspiration originating from the childhood fascinations of the company’s founder, Olivier Colas. The MORDRED putter sold out in less than a week following the Show in Orlando but is now available again for orders.

« The Arthurian Legend lives on coming to golfers all the way from the Brittany Region in France. Mordred has a “dark story” behind it as Mordred was a treacherous traitor from Arthurian lore. However, this Mordred is no traitor as you’ll sink putts with it in hand. The ARGOLF MORDRED is a mallet putter that’s crafted from aerospace grade 7175 Aluminum for a soft feel. Also of note is the fact that MORDRED offers a total club weight of 525 grams and has an M.O.I, rating of 9800. MORDRED provides a consistent roll whether it’s off of the center of the face or the heel or toe. There is no twisting whatsoever.
